Job summary

AIR Sligo, part of the AIR Group, is seeking a dynamic technician to lead the build and debug of automated assembly machines. You will work on challenging projects in a highly technical, collaborative environment and contribute to the full mechanical and electrical assembly process.

Responsibilities include machine build, field wiring, debug, reading drawings, on-site installation, and ensuring GMP standards while meeting delivery deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in machine build or automation.
• Welding experience advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Self-starter with initiative and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team while managing individual responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Machine build and assembly.
• Field wiring and electrical/mechanical debug.
• Read and mark-up electrical drawings.
• On-site installation and commissioning.
• Maintain workshop and prepare materials.
• Ensure GMP standards and safety policies.
