Job summary

AIR Sligo, part of the AIR Group, is seeking a dynamic technician to join the automation team in Collooney, Co. Sligo.

You will be responsible for the build and debugging of customised automated machines, including mechanical assembly, wiring, and on-site installation to meet project deadlines. Key requirements include relevant machine build/automation experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a machine build, automation, or similar role.
• Welding experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and debug automated machines per drawings.
• Make mechanical/electrical changes and mark-up drawings.
• Perform electrical wiring of control panels (where qualified).
• Assist with on-site installation and commissioning.
• Maintain GMP standards and safety policies.
• Manage machine build materials and restock components.
