AECOM is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineer to join our Water Team in Dublin, Ireland. This role involves supervising major water and wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience in site supervision of MEICA works.
This position offers a hybrid work model, providing the flexibility to work from AECOM’s office, remotely, or at client sites while supporting vital projects for Uisce Éireann.

AECOM is proud to have supported Uisce Éireann since the inception of its Resident Engineer programme seven years ago and we are currently on the lookout for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineers (Senior M&E REs, M&E REs & Assistant M&E REs) to increase our existing team and support the delivery of Uisce Eireann’s Capital Investment Plan.
As a Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Resident Engineer you will work with Uisce Éireann framework providers to ensure each project is constructed to the specified quality standards. The work will involve major water and wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, including new water and wastewater treatment plants and upgrades, pumping stations, National Generator programme, Electrical Upgrade programme and capital Maintenance projects across all counties in the Republic of Ireland. Reflecting Uisce Éireann and AECOM’s commitment to safety as a core value, you will be an ambassador for safety in this role. You will proactively improve the safety culture and implement all safety policies and standards on the construction projects.
