Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking a Lot Release QA Inspector to support the start-up of our first European manufacturing site in Athenry. This onsite role focuses on ensuring products meet regulatory and quality standards before release.

The position requires 4–6 years in the medical device industry, a Level 6 qualification in Quality/Engineering, and flexibility to work a 12‑hour day shift pattern with a 4-on/3-off cycle. Growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 6 in Quality, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4–6 years’ experience within the medical device industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final product review of documents for accurate format, signatures, dating and GDP compliance.
• Carry out in-process product inspection and testing for conformance to requirements.
• Prepare, record, and update inspection report forms.
• Conduct Lot Release transactions in the defined system.
• Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing, and Process Engineers on Lot Release issues.
• Maintain compliance with SOPs and ensure training is completed before task operation.
• Monitor equipment/instrumentation to ensure cleanliness and safe use.
• Ensure documentation and labelling are legible, complete, and correct per cGMP.
