Job summary

Panda invites applications for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our Cappagh depot (D11 NP68) in Dublin. This full-time role involves safe, efficient collections and deliveries, daily vehicle checks, and route management.

You'll work Monday to Friday with possible Saturday work, start times 4-5 am or 3 pm when required, and you’ll receive uniform and ongoing training. We value safety, reliability, and a good knowledge of the local Dublin area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional driving experience.
• Clean and valid Category C licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and weekly vehicle checks for safety and compliance.
• Effectively manage your route to complete scheduled collections and deliveries.
• Maintain accurate electronic and written records of activities.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver to join Panda, Ireland's largest waste management business. We're a team committed to environmental excellence, and we're looking for reliable professionals to join our team at the Cappagh depot (D11 NP68).

• HGV Class 2 Driver: Full-time role driving bin truck.

In these roles, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring safe and efficient collections and deliveries. You'll contribute directly to our mission of creating a cleaner, greener future.

Key Benefits & Compensation

• Competitive Pay: Hourly rate of €17.82.
• Daily Bonuses: Receive a €15 attendance bonus and a €5.00 KPI bonus per day after 6 months.
• Subsistence Allowance: An extra €17.92 per day is provided.

Work-Life Balance & Schedule

• Working Hours: This is a stable, full-time position on a Monday to Friday schedule. Occasional Saturday work may be required.
• Start Times:
  • starts at 4-5 am till finish or 3 pm evening when needed

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of 2 years of professional driving experience.

• You must be over 25 years of age for insurance purposes.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety.
• Good knowledge of the local Dublin area and a strong sense of direction.
