We invite applications for a part-time Lobby Host to join the team at Supermac’s, The Mallow N20 Plaza.

The Lobby Host greets and supports the customer experience by maintaining efficient customer flow, informing customers about menu options and the latest promotions, communicating customer feedback, and informing staff of menu or operational changes.

The role: The Lobby Host provides ongoing support to the Management Team to ensure customers receive the best quality, service, and cleanliness each time they visit the store. The Lobby Host must interact with customers, staff, and management in a friendly and efficient manner to achieve this result. The Lobby Host is responsible for carrying out his/her duties in compliance with the training received. The purpose of the role is to ensure the tables and seating area are clean and free from spillages, bins are emptied, floors are clean and dry, and all public areas and toilets are clean, stocked, and presentable at all times. It is important to greet customers in a friendly and welcoming fashion, going the extra mile to meet their needs in a clean and welcoming environment. All roles require flexibility and ensuring a great visit for every customer every time.

The job:

• Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner - interacting with customers and making them feel welcome and important to us.
• Being helpful and friendly, assisting with buggies, wheelchairs, or trays to assist customers. Give creative suggestions regarding our food menus, making conversation lively and enjoyable.
• Make sure the lobby and toilets are kept clean throughout the store with a particular focus on floor safety and the management of spills.
• Ensure the lobby and serving areas are properly set up and stocked, clean and tidy.
• You must have a sense of urgency regarding the cleanliness of the lobby, ensuring tables are cleared immediately, and spillages are dealt with in a timely fashion.
• Communicate with all customers to ensure quality satisfaction with both food and service.
• Respond to customer complaints and bring any issues to the attention of the Duty Manager in Supermac’s.
• Communicate with Management and staff to ensure effective customer flow.
• You can have fun and take pride in providing an enjoyable dining experience to our expanding customer base.
• Providing a clean area to customers is a given; this means ensuring clean tables and floors, baby chairs, bins emptied, toilets presentable and stocked, etc.

Person Specification:

• The Lobby host must be able to provide excellent customer care to the public.
• You must possess exceptional communication skills and be a positive representation of the company
• You must be able to participate in a team-oriented environment
• You must be Energetic, Approachable, Friendly, Outgoing, and courteous

Required Skills:

• Previous customer service in the hospitality environment preferred
• Interpersonal skills
