Job summary
Arkil Ltd in Ireland is seeking a Quarry Driver to operate a loading shovel safely and efficiently, supporting the delivery of road surfacing materials on site. You will carry out daily checks, maintain equipment, and work with site teams to ensure timely material supply to trucks while following health, safety and environmental policies. The role requires a full Irish driving licence and a CSCS/QSCS card, with quarry or construction experience preferred.
Qualifications
CSCS/QSCS card holder.
Full Irish driving licence.
Experience in quarry or construction preferred.
Responsibilities
Operate loading shovel to move, load, and distribute aggregates, asphalt, and other surfacing materials.
Carry out daily machine checks, routine maintenance, and report any defects or issues promptly.
Ensure safe loading of materials in accordance with weight limits and operational procedures.
Work closely with site teams to ensure materials are supplied efficiently to trucks, and stockpiles.
Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring compliance with company health, safety, and environmental policies.
Assist with general site duties when required, yard organisation, and stock control.
Follow site supervisor instructions.
