The Role

We are seeking a Line Manager who will support and lead a department and team to deliver the best shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Deputy Manager, this role ensures we serve Ireland’s shoppers a little better every day.

  • Create an inspiring and welcoming environment for colleagues and customers
  • Be responsible for the store when the Store Manager/Deputy Manager are absent
  • Ensure team members are fully trained and validated in their roles
  • Foster two-way communication and a culture of trust
  • Coach and manage colleagues to meet daily priorities and customer needs
  • Review reports and systems to implement improvements for customers and colleagues
  • Promote a culture of zero food waste, managing date codes and food safety
  • Recruit passionate colleagues who prioritize customer service
  • Understand and deliver cleaning standards through leadership by example
  • Manage stock control, warehouse layout, and routines for first-time accuracy
  • Address pricing issues, overcharges, refunds, and labeling routines to ensure correct charges
  • Manage front-end operations to prevent queues
  • Recognize and give feedback on excellent service and address poor service
