Job summary

CPL Healthcare is partnering with a leading Northwest charity to recruit an Addiction Counsellor for Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

You will deliver addiction support to service users within a multi-disciplinary team, providing wrap-around supports to those who have experienced long-term homelessness and trauma. The role covers Donegal and involves building rapport, liaising with services, and using harm-reduction approaches.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 7 qualification in counselling/psychotherapy.
• Accredited counsellor with ICPC/IAAC/ICPC or relevant body.

Responsibilities

• Provide addiction support to service users within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Build rapport, counsel, advocate and liaise with clients in homes and community.
• Deliver recovery-led, harm-reduction approaches and develop care plans.
