Job Title: Leisure Centre Attendant

Location: Great National Hotel Ballina, County Mayo, Ireland

Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

The Great National Hotel Ballina is seeking a friendly and professional Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our leisure centre, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent customer service to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide information about the leisure centre and its facilities
• Ensure the leisure centre is clean, organized, and safe for guests to use
• Monitor the pool and other facilities to ensure guest safety and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning equipment and changing pool filters
• Provide assistance and instruction to guests using the equipment and facilities
• Maintain accurate records of pool usage, equipment maintenance, and other relevant data
• Enforce leisure centre policies and procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests
• Assist with other tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of the leisure centre and hotel

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
