Job summary

The Anner Hotel, managed by Windward Management, seeks a motivated Leisure Centre Attendant to oversee daily leisure centre operations and guest services. The role requires a strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction, with duties spanning from pool maintenance to front-desk support.

Essential Lifeguard qualifications and customer-service focus are required, with Swim Teacher qualifications desirable.

Qualifications

Lifeguard qualification is essential.

Experience in pool safety and hygiene.
ITEC/NCEF gym instructor qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

Ensure Leisure Centre operates efficiently and provide guests with excellent service.
Maintain safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
Ensure pool and leisure areas are cleaned and maintained to required standards and health & safety regulations.
Assist guests attending the club with exercise equipment and comfort.
Ensure reception and leisure area are cleaned daily to hygiene standards.
Record maintenance within leisure areas and respond to queries and complaints per hotel procedures.
Demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.

About The Anner Hotel

The Anner Hotel is a 4 star hotel located in Thurles, mid-way between the cities of Cork and Dublin and is only 1.5 hours from all major cities. In the heart of Tipperary, the Anner Hotel offers great accommodation with 92 guest rooms all tastefully decorated in restful tones, fine casual dining in Ed Bistro and Seasons Restaurant, private dining, conference suites and an extensive award-winning Leisure Centre with an 18-metre pool.

The Role Entails the following Duties:

To ensure the Leisure Centre operates efficiently and effectively at all times and provide our guests and members with an excellent service.
Part time and full time roles available.
To ensure the safety and security of leisure centre guests at all times.
To ensure the swimming pool and leisure area is cleaned and maintained to the required standards and Health and Safety regulatory standards.
To assist persons attending the club, ensuring all are comfortable with the exercise equipment.
To ensure the reception and leisure area is thoroughly cleaned, vacuumed and dusted daily to hygiene standards.
To comply with all fire, safety and hygiene regulations.
To record any maintenance within the leisure areas.
To demonstrate consistently excellent guest care at all times.
To handle customer queries, requests and complaints according to the hotel’s procedures.
