The appointee will also be expected to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching, inspire students, develop modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise research students, and contribute to field-based and practical methods training where appropriate. We particularly welcome applicants whose work engages with pressing geographical questions concerning environmental change, landscape dynamics, climate-related processes, human–environment interactions, or the physical processes shaping places and regions.

The appointee will also contribute to School, College and University service, and to an inclusive and collegial academic community.
