Job summary

Vertiv in Burnfoot, Donegal, Ireland, seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to plan, develop, and implement lean manufacturing processes and deploy the VOS operating system. You will oversee improvement projects, standardizing manufacturing practices and guiding teams across the value chain.

The role requires 3–5 years applying Lean/Six Sigma, strong leadership, and fluency in English, with travel around 10% of the time. Experience with MS Office is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience applying Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Experience in Continuous Improvement and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong leadership to manage workflow and lead a team.
• Analytical skills including root cause analysis and statistical methods.
• Fluent English communication.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operations to reduce lead times and costs.
• Lead and coach operational leaders to integrate functions across the value chain.
• Oversee VOS-related processes, standards, and methods with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate daily activities of VOS Coordinators and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Lead the VOS Steering Committee and communicate improvements across the site.
• Develop and deploy VOS strategy in collaboration with regional leaders.
• Ensure alignment with ITC requirements and environmental protection principles.
