Job summary

Ayesa is seeking an Associate/Principal Engineer – Water in Dublin/Cork, Ireland. The role involves leading wastewater and water design across commercial, residential, education, healthcare, and public infrastructure projects, with a focus on self-direction and senior-level delivery.

You will manage technical design, hydraulics, flood risk assessments, and planning submissions while coordinating with authorities and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading water/wastewater design projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects to schedule and budget.
• Chartered status or equivalent qualification.
• Experience with Uisce Éireann standards and Irish planning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver wastewater and water design packages across sectors.
• Design water distribution networks and pumping stations.
• Oversee hydraulic analysis for water and wastewater networks.
• Prepare reports for planning submissions and approvals.
• Liaise with Local Authorities, EPA, and Uisce Éireann.
