Qualifications

• BS/MS in Polymer/Material Science or related engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years in R&D or supporting pharmaceutical materials.
• PhD in Polymer Science or related field preferred.
• Experience with polymer materials testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead material science strategy for single-use systems and packaging.
• Provide guidance on material safety compliance and testing.
• Oversee material characterization programs for new polymers.
• Translate standards and regulatory requirements into Pfizer processes.
• Develop qualification strategies for emerging polymers.
• Support AI and digital solutions for process simplification.
