Job summary

Meaghers Pharmacy in Dublin 4 is seeking a Supervising Pharmacist to lead a busy community pharmacy team. You will ensure safe dispensing, high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance, while driving service delivery and staff development.

The role emphasises leadership, clinical checks, vaccination capabilities and a proactive, customer‑focussed approach within a well‑established team.

Qualifications

Registered pharmacist with PSI in good standing.
Minimum 3 years post-registration experience in community pharmacy.
Experience in supervising staff and delivering high standards of patient care.
Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable with vaccination services and expanded pharmacy roles.

Responsibilities

Oversee safe and effective operation of the retail pharmacy and medicines supply.
Deliver patient-centred services including counselling, adherence support and clinical checks.
Provide vaccination services and other expanded pharmacy services where applicable.
Lead a team of OTC assistants and technicians; conduct performance reviews and training.
Ensure SOPs are followed and compliance with PSI, PCRS and health & safety requirements.
