Job summary

Jabil Bray, Ireland seeks a Mold Tooling Engineer to design, fabricate and qualify plastic injection molds and sheet metal dies via outside vendors. You will lead process development, specify equipment and suppliers, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality tooling.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent), 5+ years bench experience as a Class A journeyman, and strong project management with mold and tooling know-how.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience on the bench; Class A journeyman status.
• Experience managing the mold making process from start to finish.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related software for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead tooling and process development for molds and tooling, including cost estimates.
• Specify equipment, tooling fixtures, and suppliers for new or changed processes.
• Coordinate and contract with vendors through supply chain for improved terms.
• Plan, design, and implement tooling and molding processes for new products and production.
• Provide technical support to tooling and molding operations and drive continuous improvement.
