Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Product Manager to own relationships with some of the world's largest payment providers and drive billions in payment volume growth. You will align internal leaders on a shared vision and work closely with Stripe users to understand their needs, delivering clear, actionable roadmaps for strategic partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a product management or adjacent role with a track record of building impactful products.
• Experience partnering with engineers, designers, and external partners to build products at scale.
• Ability to communicate with and influence stakeholders across user-facing and partner-facing sides.
• Strong written and verbal communication with concise articulation of user problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop the long-term vision and strategy for your pillar within Local Payment Methods and create a roadmap.
• Understand merchants' and partners' needs by collaborating with cross-functional teams across Stripe and partners.
• Drive adoption of strategic payment methods by identifying new distribution opportunities and cross-border use cases.
• Collaborate with risk, legal, data science, and engineering to ensure sustainable growth and optimized approvals.
• Work with product marketing and GTM teams to turn roadmaps into compelling narratives.
• Build deep user empathy and stay aware of global payment trends to influence Stripe's roadmap.
• Partner with payment providers to develop joint roadmaps and align internal goals with partner objectives.
• Become a subject-matter expert for Stripe's strategic payment partners.
