Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive performance, reliability, and modernization across our technology landscape. You will lead initiatives, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and accelerate transformation using AI-assisted infrastructure and scripting capabilities.

You will design and implement scalable solutions across Linux/Windows, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, shaping an innovative and secure infrastructure culture within Global Shares.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts.
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure engineering areas such as hardware, networking, databases, storage, deployment, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessments.
• Demonstrated experience using enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to support infra workflows, with validation and data sensitivity awareness.
• Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations and ensure resiliency, security, and auditability.

Responsibilities

• Apply technical expertise to deliver design, development, and troubleshooting solutions.
• Use enterprise‑authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation.
• Drive workstreams involving infrastructure engineering technologies to modernize processes.
• Advise on data, systems and technical implications, recommending mitigations.
• Apply reuse‑first, AI‑assisted practices in delivery and automation to address recurring issues.
• Ensure changes are traceable, auditable, and aligned to resiliency and security expectations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues and advance initiatives.
• Operate and migrate across public and private cloud platforms.
• Administer and support cloud‑native applications and techniques.
• Set up and manage data streaming solutions (Kafka, Event Grid, Service Bus).
• Develop and automate workflows using scripting languages and CI/CD tools.
