Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a large-scale data center environment.
• Solid understanding of Linux and hardware systems support in an Internet operations environment.
• Experience in managing multiple projects on time.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain new data center infrastructure.
• Understand and debug network, hardware, and Linux OS issues.
• Perform deep dives on technical issues within the data center.
• Provide cross data center support and identify larger issues.
• Track issues and analyze data for trends.

Skills

Cisco networking certification (CCNA/P)

Experience with HP/IBM server hardware

7+ years in large-scale data centers

Troubleshooting of routing protocols (BGP)

Linux support in operations environments

Python, SQL, or shell scripting skills

Enterprise networking and storage equipment

Out-of-band/lights-out communication methods
