Job summary

Matchtech is seeking a senior professional to lead the integration of onboard signalling, ETCS and railway radio systems into rolling stock. You will ensure compatibility with infrastructure, telecommunications and operational systems through design, testing and commissioning.

The role requires extensive experience in railway systems integration, leading design reviews and resolving complex technical issues across lab and field testing environments.

Qualifications

• Degree required in Engineering, Project Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years' railway systems experience.
• Recent experience integrating ETCS, train control and/or railway radio systems into rolling stock.
• Experience supporting design, testing or commissioning of onboard railway systems.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle interface management across systems.
• Coordinate ETCS/GSM-R/FRMCS integration with railway infrastructure and onboard subsystems.
• Lead design reviews to ensure compatibility and safety.
• Resolve technical issues across design, testing and commissioning phases.
• Provide support to laboratory and field testing activities.
• Generate and maintain compatibility evidence for onboard systems.
