FIRST CHAPTERS EARLY YEARS SERVICE (ROSCOMMON) LIMITED in Ireland is recruiting a Lead Early Years Educator to join our brand-new facility opening late 2026 in Oldwood Estate. The role will involve leading a childcare room, delivering play-based learning, and ensuring safety and wellbeing for children aged 1–10 while working 8:00am–6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

You will work within Aistear and Síolta guidelines, maintain records under Tusla regulations, and collaborate with parents and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Aistear, Síolta and Tusla Early Years Regulations.
• Garda Vetting required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of a childcare room and support the overall running of the service.
• Plan, implement and evaluate engaging learning experiences in line with Aistear.
• Ensure high standards of care, safety and wellbeing for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Observe, document and support children’s individual development.
• Maintain records in line with Tusla regulations and the Quality & Regulatory Framework.
• Promote inclusive practice and support children’s individual needs.
