Job summary

Mastercard Foundry in Dublin TechHub is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive high-performance AI solutions across ML/DL/NLP projects. You will research new AI frameworks for POCs, prototypes and products, and apply LLMs to relevant use cases.

The role requires mentoring juniors and collaborating with global teams to push innovation in payments and commerce. You will publish research and contribute to IP strategies while championing scalable AI architectures and data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of relevant data science experience.
• Experience solving problems with AI in cross-functional teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Ability to mentor junior staff.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Willingness to lead projects and manage timelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop high performance AI solutions with ML/DL/NLP.
