Job summary

KX is hiring a seasoned Lead Data / Implementation Engineer, Financial Markets, to guide the architecture, customization, and deployment of our OneTick-based solutions across AWS-hosted and client environments. You will design and optimize large-scale ETL workflows, ensure high-performance distributed deployments, and serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.

This role offers mentorship and opportunity to influence product strategy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in data or software engineering roles.
• Experience designing and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines.
• Strong AWS and Airflow hands-on experience.
• Proven client-facing technical and advisory skills.
• Experience with distributed systems and production deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and deployment of OneTick-based solutions.
• Design and optimize large-scale ETL workflows.
• Ensure performance and scalability of distributed deployments.
• Act as technical advisor to clients.
• Troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems.
