Job summary

Murphy is recruiting for a Senior Contracts Manager to lead and be accountable for a large project or portfolio of works in the Transportation & Infrastructure team in Dublin. You will ensure delivery is safe, on time, within budget and to the required standards.

You will coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Manager and suppliers, drive risk management, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement across the project team.

Qualifications

• Hold Civil Engineering, Construction Management Degree or a relevant trade certification.
• Excellent knowledge of Construction Contracts, in particular Public Works Contracts.
• Experience coordinating with Project Manager & Site Manager and reporting to Project Director.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, clients and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be accountable for delivery of large projects or portfolios.
• Plan, organise and deliver works safely, on time and to quality.
• Promote Never Harm culture and engage with CDP programme.
• Manage project teams, provide guidance and direction.
• Ensure effective handover from work winning to delivery teams.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to meet budget and schedule.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and opportunities.
• Chair project meetings and ensure tracked actions are closed.
