Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning on major construction and infrastructure projects across Ireland. You will manage planning, pre-commissioning, testing and handover, coordinating with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

This permanent role offers a salary between £67,000 and £76,000 per year plus a comprehensive package, with options for permanent or 12-month fixed-term contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commissioning Manager or similar on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.
• Proven ability to deliver commissioning packages on major projects.
• Excellent leadership, coordination and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of testing, validation and handover procedures.
• Ability to review drawings and commissioning plans.
• Willing to travel internationally and lodge away from home.
• Valid UK or Irish driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning from planning to handover.
• Develop and implement commissioning strategies and programmes.
• Coordinate teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
• Monitor progress and meet milestones as per programme.
• Review specifications and commissioning documentation.
• Manage testing, validation and fault-finding.
• Ensure commissioning records and handover docs are complete.
• Support delivery teams for operational handovers.
• Maintain health and safety throughout commissioning.
• Travel across Ireland and internationally as required.
