Job summary

OpenText, The Information Company, seeks a Lead Site Reliability Engineer in Ireland to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of hosted cloud applications. You will drive operational excellence across complex production environments and lead cloud infrastructure initiatives.

Collaborate with global teams on migrations, DR planning, and production incident management, while championing automation, resiliency, and best practices to deliver stable services for OpenText customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Several years of experience supporting cloud applications and enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong expertise in DevOps and cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience automating operations with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and scripting languages.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud operations and site reliability initiatives across enterprise-scale environments.
• Own cloud platform architecture, automation, deployment, and operational excellence.
• Drive cloud migrations, disaster recovery planning, and production incident management.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Professional Services, Client Support, and Engineering teams globally.
• Champion automation and resiliency best practices to improve service stability.
