Job summary

Trs Staffing Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Construction Manager to lead delivery of civil works for major power utility projects. The role is hybrid and based in Dublin with flexibility to operate across Wicklow, Kilkenny and Wexford.

Qualifications

• Full Irish Driver Licence.
• Safe pass & Manual handling.
• IOSH Managing safety for construction Managers (Preferable).
• Recognised academic training such as a degree or Trade Qualifications
• 5 Years’ experience working in a utility environment.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Construction Management.
• Lead the safe, timely, and cost-effective delivery of civil construction works across renewable energy and energy infrastructure projects.
• Oversee project planning, resource allocation, programme performance, and project reporting.
• Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality (HSEQ).
• Lead incident investigations, site audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure environmental and quality obligations are maintained throughout project delivery.
• Leadership & People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop Site Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and construction teams.
• Promote a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support recruitment, workforce planning, and employee development activities.
• Stakeholder & Commercial Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor project budgets, contractual obligations, commercial performance, and subcontractor delivery.
• Manage project risks, variations, claims, and opportunities to optimise project outcomes.
• Planning & Resource Management: Review and manage project programmes, construction schedules, and critical path activities.
• Coordinate resources across multiple projects and support project mobilisation and demobilisation activities.
