Job summary

Prochem Engineering in Cork is seeking a Building Services Engineer to join an established design team. The role focuses on managing activity planning, scheduling, and assigning responsibilities to deliverables on time.

You will lead design from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with current health and safety regulations and contributing across engineering, procurement and construction phases. Experience in pharmaceutical design is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Honours engineering degree focused on building services or mechanical design.
• Six+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with pharmaceutical design office is preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit and IES software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and utilities design for projects, coordinating with clients and contractors.
• Manage design from concept through handover.
• Ensure designs comply with latest health and safety regulations.
• Contribute to procurement and construction phases and tender documentation.
• Prepare P&ID drawings and other design documents.
• Present 3-D model reviews with client teams.
