Job summary

Johnson Controls in Dublin is seeking a Critical Systems Commissioning Lead to drive BAS/BMS commissioning, integration and IST for data centre cooling and power plants. You will lead factory and site testing, verify sequences, sensors and field devices, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical and project teams to ensure safe, validated handover.

The role requires deep BAS/BMS, controls and commissioning experience, hands-on troubleshooting, familiarity with BACnet/IP and Modbus, and

Qualifications

• Relevant BAS/BMS, controls, automation or commissioning experience.
• Practical understanding of HVAC, hydronic and liquid-cooling systems.
• Familiarity with data-centre cooling equipment such as CRAHs, chillers and CDU/Rear Door Heat Exchangers.

Responsibilities

• Lead BAS/controls commissioning from factory testing through final IST.
• Review controls architecture and sequences of operation, I/O lists and FAT/SAT documentation.
• Perform point-to-point checks, sensor/actuator validation and functional testing.
• Troubleshoot BAS software, control logic, field devices and third-party integrations.
• Coordinate with electrical, mechanical and project teams to ensure safe handover.
