Job summary

PGIM Ireland, based in Letterkenny, seeks an Investment Operations Associate to join the Operations team. The role involves performing reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and supporting client reporting in a fast-paced financial services setting.

The position is onsite in Letterkenny with 2 days per week on location. You will work with cross-functional teams to manage daily operations, focus on risk controls, and contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to ownership and accountability.
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment securities, including bonds, equities, and related products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform reconciliations across various data sources to ensure completeness and accuracy of records.
  • Investigate, analyse, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support the preparation and review of operational and client reporting deliverables.
  • Monitor daily operational activities and elevate issues where appropriate.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external business partners to resolve exceptions and improve processes.
