Solventum is seeking an Automation Maintenance Engineering Supervisor in Athlone, Ireland. The role leads the maintenance and reliability function for automated production systems, robotics, vision systems and electrical/mechanical assets.

A hands-on leader will drive safety, reliability and continuous improvement while partnering with operations to maximize uptime. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership across automation, robotics, controls, electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
• Proven experience leading maintenance/engineering teams in highly automated environments.
• Comfort with robotics, vision systems, PLCs and industrial networks.

Responsabilités

• Lead maintenance and reliability for automated production systems, robotics, vision systems, electrical and mechanical assets.
• Provide technical leadership for automation, controls, electrical and mechanical maintenance activities.
• Drive equipment reliability, continuous improvement and safe working practices.
• Manage a 4-cycle shift maintenance team and develop high-performing staff.
• Coordinate shutdowns, parts management and capital projects.
