Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Limerick, Ireland seeks a Principal Automation Engineer to join the on-site Automation team. Lead end-to-end automation projects, act as SME for Allen Bradley PLC/HMI, and ensure robust, compliant automation systems across validated facilities.

The role emphasizes design documentation, change control, and 24/7 on-call support, with collaboration across cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

BS/BA in Science/Engineering and 8+ years in validated automation in a regulated industry.
Strong knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, validation methodologies, data integrity, and change control.
Hands-on experience with Allen Bradley Rockwell platform (FactoryTalk View Studio SE/ME, ControlLogix, FactoryTalk Historian).
Familiarity with SEEQ, Ignition, Splunk, MS SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

Serving as the site's SME for Allen Bradley Rockwell PLC and HMI programming, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
Leading end-to-end automation projects from concept to turnover.
Maintaining detailed project schedules with cross-functional teams and partners.
Owning change control processes for automation configurations and data integrity.
