Job summary

Manpower Ireland is seeking an AI Technical Lead to drive a major enterprise transformation, delivering next-generation AI capabilities across business processes. The role combines hands-on delivery with strategic leadership on Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks.

We are looking for an experienced AI Technical Lead to join a major enterprise transformation programme and lead the delivery of next-generation AI capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI, helping shape how intelligent systems are embedded across enterprise applications and business processes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both handson technical delivery and technical leadership, bringing innovative AI solutions from concept to production while guiding teams and influencing strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Define and drive the AI architecture strategy across enterprise platforms.
• Design and deliver production-ready solutions using LLMs, RAG, and Agentic AI frameworks.
• Lead the development of intelligent applications that automate processes, enhance customer experiences, and improve business outcomes.
• Build scalable AI workflows integrating vector databases, APIs, enterprise systems, and cloud services.
• Establish best practices for AI development, prompt engineering, governance, security, testing, and deployment.
• Mentor developers and technical teams on modern AI technologies and responsible AI principles.
• Evaluate emerging AI tools and technologies and recommend solutions that deliver measurable value.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Data, and Business stakeholders to deliver innovative AI-enabled capabilities.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in AI, Machine Learning, or related technologies.
• Proven experience delivering LLM-powered applications into production environments.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) solutions.
• Experience building Agentic AI systems and multi-step AI workflows.
• Strong software engineering background with excellent Python development skills.
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM optimisation techniques.
• Working knowledge of AI frameworks including:
• LangChain
• LangGraph
• LlamaIndex
• Semantic Kernel

Technical Expertise

• Python and JavaScript/TypeScript development experience.
• Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Qdrant.
• Hands‑on experience with OpenAI/GPT APIs, Claude, Hugging Face, and similar AI platforms.
• AWS cloud experience.
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge.
• Understanding of MLOps and AI deployment practices.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.

Leadership Skills

• Demonstrated experience leading technical teams and complex projects.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong decision‑making, problem‑solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
