Job summary

Sigmar Recruitment in East Galway is seeking a Market Researcher who will conduct multilingual market research using the internet, trade press, and internal databases. You will also call companies in your region to verify information, ensuring accurate data for varied projects.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Fluency in at least one other language (written and spoken).
• Excellent office skills (including MS Office) and experience in a corporate office environment.
• Keen interest in conducting research via the internet and over the telephone; full training will be given.
• Genuine interest in working with people; compiling and conducting research globally.
• Friendly and professional team player who can work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Research the market via the internet, trade magazines, other media and internal database.
• Speak to companies in the region by phone to qualify market information and ensure data accuracy.
• Work individually on projects within a large, collaborative team.

About Your New Job

• This job is office based, working with a large team (approx. 75+ ) of multi-lingual Market Researchers.
• Although you will be part of a large, friendly and collaborative team, you will be working individually by researching the market through using the internet, trade magazines, other media and an internal database.
• To ensure that the data you gather is accurate you will also pick up the phone and speak to companies in your region (eg English and global countries) and ask them to qualify market info.

What Skills You Need

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Fluency in at least one other language (written and spoken)
• Excellent office skills (including MS Office) and experience of working in a corporate office environment
• A keen interest in conducting research via the internet and over the telephone, prior experience is not essential as full training and development will be given
• A genuine interest in working with people (over the telephone or e-mail), you will be compiling and conducting research globally and working on a variety of interesting projects
• A friendly and professional team player who enjoys working autonomously

What’s on Offer

• Full time permanent position with a competitive salary package (OTE of 39k in your first year). This consists of a base salary of 30-32k plus uncapped bonuses.
• Office hours, 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday.
