Overview

Title: Laboratory Technician - Milk Hut

Business Unit: Food Ingredients

Function: Perform testing in Intake and product laboratories

Reporting To: Senior Lab Technician

Location: Station Road, Tipperary

Purpose: Testing of raw material and in-process liquid to ensure Food Safety and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Performing timely analytical testing in Intake Laboratory.
• Support for other laboratories if required.
• Ensuring that all documentation is completed correctly with the approved procedures.
• Identifying and highlighting any issues to the appropriate supervisor/manager. Following through with issues to achieve a resolution.
• Comply with health and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Science or equivalent discipline is an advantage.
• Experience in a laboratory is an advantage.

• Proven ability in communication
• A high level of flexibility, motivation, and the ability to work on their own initiative.
