PE Global is recruiting a Lab Technician for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Meath. This is a contract position within the Process Sciences Lab of the Manufacturing Science and Technology group at a state-of-the-art facility.

The Lab Technician will support end-to-end process operations, equipment maintenance, lab administration and safety documentation. The role involves working across the site with a cross-functional team, contributing to biologics manufacture knowledge, and

Qualificações

• A Level 8 qualification in science or engineering is preferred; Level 7 with relevant experience will be considered.
• 1–2 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Solid understanding of GMP, regulatory expectations and quality systems in lab/manufacturing settings.
• Experience with lab administration and familiar with lab operations is a plus.

Responsabilidades

PE Global is currently recruiting for a Lab Technician for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Meath.

This is a contract position.

Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lab Technician in the Process Sciences Lab as part of the Manufacturing Science and Technology (MS&T) group at our state-of-the-art, single-use, multi-product facility. The Lab Technician is responsible for contributing to the overall running of the Process Sciences Laboratory and working across site as part of a diverse and interdisciplinary team to build capability and knowledge in the manufacture of biologics.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Support readiness and execution activities for end-to end process operations for scale down models for Fed Batch Manufacturing satellites, technical study support and analytical testing.
• Support equipment maintenance and cleaning, solution preparation and lab administration tasks to assist a team of scientists in daily delivery of experiments.
• Conduct all work activities with a strict adherence to the safety and compliance culture on site.
• Support the authoring of safety documentation, work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Work as part of a dedicated laboratory team where flexibility and teamwork are a key requirement.
• This role is a site-based role and due to nature of the work in the Process Science Lab, some weekend work may be required .

Requirements:

• A Level 8 qualification in a science or engineering discipline desired. Level 7 with relevant experience will be considered.
• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory expectations, data integrity, and quality systems relevant to laboratory and manufacturing support activities.
• Familiarity with lab operations and experience of lab administration is preferred.
• Understanding of Upstream and Downstream Unit Operations for biologics manufacturing and Analytical testing is preferred.
• Effective communicator with the ability to think logically and be proactive under pressure and work as part of a diverse cross-functional team.
