Job summary

ICON plc in Dublin, Ireland, is looking for a Laboratory Project Coordinator I to support trial progress and documentation. You will assist Project Managers with day-to-day trial monitoring and help prepare internal and external reports to keep sponsors informed.

Based in Dublin, Ireland, you will work in a dynamic clinical research environment, contributing to process improvements and ensuring adherence to ICON's values of accountability, collaboration and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with day-to-day monitoring of trials.
  • Generate internal management reports and provide to the Project Coordinator II or the Project Manager.
  • Generate external management reports and provide to the Project Manager.
  • Create study documents from templates in the set-up phase (e.g., communication/escalation plans).
  • Adhere to ICON's values: People, Clients and Performance.
  • Contribute to process improvement by streamlining workflows.
  • Perform other project-management tasks as required.

Job description:
  • Responsible for assisting Project Managers and Project Coordinator IIs with the day-to-day monitoring of trials.
  • Responsible for the generation of internal management reports and provision of these to the Project Coordinator II or the Project Manager, e.g. open status reports, commented results reports.
  • Responsible for the generation of external management reports and provision of these to the Project Manager.
  • Responsible for creating study documents from templates in the set-up phase of a study e.g. communication / escalation plan, ICOLABS forms.
  • Recognize, exemplify and adhere to ICON's values which center on our commitment to People, Clients and Performance.
  • As a member of staff, the employee is expected to embrace and contribute to our culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
  • Performs any other task related to project management that may be required.
