Lab Assistants are in the main assigned to Schools and are responsible to the Head of that School or other designated member(s) of staff. The range of duties assigned to a Lab Assistant may vary from discipline/area to discipline/area within the University. The nature of the post requires the appointee to work closely with technical, lecturing and other staff.

Hours of Work: A 40-hour working week is in operation.

Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght.

Salary

The Lab Assistant I Salary Scale is:

• €43,328- €44,703

Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
