Client Deployment Role Description
We are looking for experienced KYC Analysts to join Albany Beck as we continue to grow our KYC and Financial Crime practice across Ireland.
The successful candidates will support client onboarding, periodic reviews and ongoing customer due diligence activities within Financial Services environments. The role will involve reviewing client documentation, conducting KYC checks and ensuring client files meet internal policy and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform KYC due diligence on new and existing clients in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collect, review and validate client documentation to support onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Prepare and maintain accurate and complete KYC files.
- Conduct screening checks and identify potential risks, discrepancies or red flags.
- Review complex client and entity structures as part of the due diligence process.
- Liaise with Relationship Managers, Compliance, Legal and other internal stakeholders to resolve documentation queries.
- Escalate high-risk, complex or unusual client profiles where appropriate.
- Support ongoing Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and remediation activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and internal policy requirements.
- Manage cases effectively within agreed deadlines and service levels.
Key Skills & Experience
- 2+ years’ experience within a KYC, AML or Client Due Diligence role in Financial Services.
- Strong knowledge of KYC, AML and CDD requirements.
- Experience reviewing complex legal entities and ownership structures.
- Experience conducting KYC on entities including:
- Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)
- Trusts and Foundations
- Investment Funds
- Regulated Financial Institutions
- Experience with client onboarding and/or periodic KYC reviews.
- Strong understanding of beneficial ownership and client documentation requirements.
- Experience identifying and escalating KYC risks and red flags.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload within a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of FATCA, CRS and AIFMD requirements.
- Experience using KYC and client onboarding platforms.
- Experience with screening and compliance tools such as World-Check, Refinitiv or Actimize.
- Previous experience working within banking, asset management, fund administration or another regulated Financial Services environment.
