NHS Scotland is seeking an HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist to join the CAMHS OT Service in Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. You will work with young people aged 0-18 within the CAMHS Links Unit at the City Hospital and in community settings as part of a multidisciplinary team. The post is temporary to backfill a secondment and offers supervision and professional development.
Travel is required and a full driving licence is essential. Interviews are planned for 08 October 2026.
An Occupational Therapist (OT), registered with HCPC, is sought to join the CAMHS OT Service to work with young people aged 0-18 years within Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire. Young people will be seen within the CAMHS Links Unit at the City Hospital, Aberdeen, and within the community. The post holder will be based at the Links Unit as part of a multidisciplinary team in CAMHS. This is a temporary post to backfill a secondment and is based within a small CAMHS OT and AHP team until July 2028.
The CAMHS team is welcoming and has a broad range of skills and knowledge, which encompasses profession specific and other modalities.
The post holder will be confident in OT practice and welcome the opportunity to extend skills and develop differing competencies in a more specialist CAMHS role. The person will require excellent communication skills and be a team player. Training and support for professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support safe practice.
Candidates should be aware that there will be a requirement to travel therefore holding a full driving licence is essential for this post.
