Overview

Around each village, the Food and Beverage department employs around 350 team members across multiple different restaurants, cafés, and bars, as well as a production kitchen. From American grills to authentic Indian cuisine, or for those wanting a relaxing drink after a busy day, there’s something to suit all appetites at Center Parcs.

Role

Kitchen Steward / Porter | €13.70 per hour

All colleagues working in our restaurants, cafés and bars will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of our guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kitchen Team with disposing of kitchen waste and deep cleaning of the kitchen and wash up areas
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in the kitchen
• Carry out cleaning duties as specified by the Kitchen Manager (e.g., sweeping and mopping floors, operating pot-washing machinery)

Requirements

• Essential: Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Desirable: Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward / Porter; ability to work in an organised manner and remain calm under pressure
• Must be able to reliably commute to Center Parcs Longford Forest (not easily accessible by public transport)

Hours

Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 60 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. Your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. As our village is open 365 days a year, your working hours will include public/bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on Sundays.
