Job summary

Food+ by Compass in Ireland is seeking a motivated kitchen assistant to support the Site Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring clean, efficient service delivery and compliance with health and safety standards.

You will assist with food preparation and cleaning, help move supplies, stock stations, and maintain a friendly, professional attitude with clients and colleagues as you contribute to the Food Program and client experiences.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required—just a passion for the industry.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong attention to hygiene and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for overall cleaning of equipment and kitchen areas
• Clean plates and pots as instructed
• Assist other members of staff move heavy loads
• Ensure your plates and cutlery stations are adequately stocked at all times and the expected look and feel maintained
• Operate machinery as shown and trained to do so, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies
