Job summary

Sodexo Group at Microsoft Campus, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, is seeking a reliable Kitchen Porter to join our catering team. This full-time role offers 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday with shift times 7:00am–3:00pm and 9:00am–5:00pm, and an hourly rate of €14.15.

You will help maintain cleanliness and hygiene, support wash-up, assist with deliveries and stock rotation, and contribute to high quality service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a kitchen, catering or hospitality environment is desirable, but full training will be provided.
• Strong understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safe working practices.
• Good attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy catering environment.
• Reliable, flexible and proactive approach.
• Good communication skills and a professional manner.
• Willingness to learn and complete relevant training.
• Positive, hands-on attitude with a focus on delivering excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the wash-up area, kitchen, storage rooms, delivery areas and staff facilities.
• Keep work areas, surfaces and equipment clean, organised and ready for service.
• Carry out routine and deep cleaning of floors, walls, fixtures, equipment, pots, pans, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
• Support the wash-up operation, ensuring kitchen equipment and service items are cleaned efficiently.
• Assist with receiving deliveries and ensure food and beverages are handled and stored in accordance with hygiene requirements.
• Support stock rotation and stock-taking when required.
• Assist with setting up and servicing tea and coffee stations.
• Support the wider catering team during busy periods, events and peak service times.
