Job summary

Glenageary, Dublin – Sodexo Ltd is hiring a full-time kitchen porter to support our catering team for corporate colleagues and clients. You will help keep the kitchen clean, assist chefs, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.

We offer comprehensive training, Garda Vetting as part of the process, and a supportive team that values your contribution. This role is ideal for someone who loves teamwork and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• Full training provided; kitchen experience is a plus.
• Garda Vetting is required or you will undergo vetting.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on cleanliness.
• Team-focused attitude and willingness to pitch in.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean and organized.
• Check, accept, and store incoming deliveries correctly.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly.
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks as needed.
• Work closely with the kitchen team and support colleagues.

What you'll do:

• Keep all kitchen areas, equipment, crockery, and utensils clean, tidy, and well-organised
• Help the chefs to check, accept, and correctly store incoming deliveries
• Disposing of kitchen waste and recyclables safely and responsibly
• Assist chefs with food prep tasks if needed
• Work closely with the kitchen team and supporting your colleagues

What you'll bring:

• We provide full training, but if you’ve worked in a kitchen before, that’s a plus!
• Garda Vetted - if not, you will undergo garda vetting process
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• A good eye for cleanliness and hygiene
• A team-first attitude and a willingness to pitch in
