Job summary

A well-established disability service provider is looking for Social Care Workers in Kilkenny. This permanent, full-time role involves supporting adults with physical and intellectual disabilities in a community setting. Candidates must have a QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care and a minimum of one year’s experience. The role offers an hourly rate between €18.42 and €26.56, with additional benefits like career progression opportunities and a strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Minimum QQI Level 7 qualification in Social Care or related Health/Social Care discipline.
• CORU registration (or proof that registration is in progress).
• Minimum 1 year’s experience working with vulnerable adults or adults with intellectual disabilities.
• Knowledge of current policies and developments within disability services.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential).
