Job summary

Comer Group Ireland is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join the team, working 20 hours per week in Kilcullen. The role focuses on residential cleaning with duties across public and private areas, including upkeep of properties and adherence to health and safety procedures.

The ideal candidate will be diligent, detail-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision. Training is provided where needed, and the position offers varied tasks in a dynamic work environment.

Qualifications

• Full Driver's licence with own transport.
• Previous experience as a cleaner (training can be provided).
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good at working on own initiative.

• Adapt well to a fast paced environment.
• Be physically fit - use of buffing machine / carpet washer will be required.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training available).

Responsibilities

• Actioning requests from Management and Property Teams in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintaining all public areas in Commercial and Residential Properties.
• Empty and wipe down waste bins.
• Clean glass and window areas.
• Wipe and dust surfaces.
• Dust/Clean/straighten furniture and table fixtures.
• Dust and clean doors and window/door sills and ledges.
• Clean lifts and lift areas.
• Vacuum carpets and mop floors.
• Sweep tiles or hardwood floor areas.
• Adhere to lost property procedures.
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures are adhered to within the Department.
• Report maintenance issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Report complaints to the Maintenance Manager.
• Maintain all tools and equipment.
• Maintain storerooms and chemical room and ensure neatness.
• Perform any other reasonable task as directed by management.
• Maintain clear communications with all departments and management.
• Assist other departments on busy days and complete duties as requested.
• Prioritising tasks and duties as required.

This role offers great variety for the right candidate, with duties and responsibilities in residential cleaning. This role will be based in Market Square, Kilcullen. The ideal candidate for this role will be diligent, take pride in their work and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Details of the role are as follows;

Responsibilities of the role will include:

Desired Skills & Experience:
