Job summary

Uniphar Group in Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, Ireland, is seeking a Key Account Executive to support day-to-day management of customer accounts with a strong focus on service excellence and relationship building.

You will coordinate account activities, prepare reports, and support onboarding of new customers while collaborating with Sales, Account Management, and cross-functional teams. This hybrid role offers office-based work four days a week with one day from home.

Qualifications

• Approximately 1 year's experience in a customer service, sales support, account management, administration, or client-facing role.
• Experience in distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable working with data and preparing reports.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Location: Uniphar Group, Block 645, Jordanstown Drive, Greenogue Business Park, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin, D24 YD83, Ireland. Hybrid role: Office-based 4 days per week, with 1 day working from home. The role : The Key Account Executive supports the day-to-day management of customer accounts by providing excellent customer service, coordinating account activities, and building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Working closely with Sales and Account Management teams, the role helps ensure customer satisfaction, supports operational and commercial activities, and contributes to the effective delivery of products, services, and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer & Account Support Act as a day-to-day contact for assigned customer accounts, providing excellent service and support. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Support the Account Management team in managing customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Respond to customer queries and requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating issues where appropriate. Assist with customer review meetings by preparing reports, presentations, and relevant account information. Support the onboarding of new customers and help coordinate account-specific requirements. Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their needs and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Account Operations & Administration Coordinate customer orders and support the smooth delivery of products and services. Maintain accurate customer information, pricing records, and account data within internal systems. Monitor key account performance metrics and assist in preparing customer reports. Support the tracking of service levels and help identify trends or areas for improvement. Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to resolve customer issues efficiently. Ensure all account activities are completed in line with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements. Assist with administrative tasks related to account management and customer support.
• Commercial & Business Support Support the Sales and Account Management teams in delivering customer objectives. Assist with pricing updates, customer presentations, business reviews, and commercial documentation. Identify potential opportunities to improve customer service and highlight them to the wider team. Develop an understanding of customer businesses, products, and market trends. Contribute ideas to improve customer engagement and account performance.

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 1 year's experience in a customer service, sales support, account management, administration, or client-facing role.
• Previous experience within distribution, healthcare, pharmaceutical, logistics, or supply chain environments would be advantageous but not essential.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
