Ad-Vance Engineering R&D Limited, based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland, seeks a mechanical design engineer to lead design and development of tooling and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) components.

You will manage projects, create CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks, prototype and test, analyze performance, and collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to deliver compliant solutions.

Formación

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with experience in LSR tool design and moulding.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Project manage new product design and development projects.
• Create and maintain CAD models, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Develop prototypes and support product testing and validation.

Job Description

Main Responsibilities

Candidate Profile

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering, or a related discipline with experience of LSR tool design and moulding
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good project management skills
• Proficiency in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn.
• Fluency in English
