Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in County Dublin is seeking a Junior Water Engineer with 2-3 years' experience to work on a range of civil and infrastructure projects, including residential and commercial schemes, water and wastewater work.

You'll design and assess surface water drainage networks, water supply infrastructure, and SuDS, using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with an emphasis on Irish standards. Hybrid working and a range of benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years' experience in Irish water and drainage design.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, drainage design and hydraulic modelling softwares.
• Understanding of Irish design standards.

Responsibilities

• Work on diverse civil and infrastructure projects including residential developments, commercial schemes, mixed-use developments, water and wastewater projects.

• Contribute to projects involving sewer networks, water supply systems and drainage updates.

Junior Water Engineer
Location: County Dublin

Junior Water Engineer with 2-3 years' experience to join an established engineering consultancy in their Dublin offices. The successful Water Engineer will work on a diverse range of civil and infrastructure projects, including residential developments, commercial schemes, mixed use developments, water and wastewater projects. Projects will involve the design and assessment of surface water drainage networks, water supply infrastructure and sustainable drainage solutions (SuDS). This role would suit an engineer with 2-3 years' experience in Irish water and drainage design.

Sample Projects:

• Residential developments - surface water drainage, foul drainage networks and water supply infrastructure - €30m - €60m.
• Commercial - site infrastructure, access roads, drainage networks and stormwater management systems - €20m - €40m.
• Water and wastewater projects - sewer networks, water supply systems and drainage updates - €10m - €30m.
• Sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) - €5m - €10m.

Requirements:

• Junior Water Engineer with 2-3 years' experience.
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or in a related field.
• Previous experience working on Irish projects.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, drainage design and hydraulic modelling softwares.
• Understanding of Irish design standards.
